The housing market ‘lives’ agitated for many years. The mismatch between supply and demand is creating obvious price tensions in certain areas of the country and there are many voices that are raised due to the impossibility of becoming independent and forming a home.
For those people who want to acquire a home, the auctions of the State Agency of the Official State Gazette (BOE) may be an opportunity. We are dealing with properties that have been expropriated or that the owners are not able to continue paying and are put up for auction at a much lower price.
Anyone can participate in the auction. You only have to register on the BOE’s electronic auction portal and make a minimum deposit through your bank account to ensure that you do not bid for nothing, but rather with the real intention of buying.
Where are houses auctioned in Andalusia?
In Andalusia there are more than a hundred properties available, including homes, plots, commercial premises and high-end cars, with Almería, Granada, Málaga and Seville as the main destination provinces:

There is a greater supply in Granada (20), where garages, storage rooms and rustic properties predominate. As far as homes are concerned, a single-family semi-detached in Armilla within the El Mexuar Urbanization stands out, with three floors, a covered terrace and a turret with a total useful area of 194 square meters, valued at 230,414.00 euros, while the amount that claimed is 185,852.84 euros.
In Huelva (4) and Jaén there is little supply. Just a couple of assets in Puebla de Guzmán and a rustic property in Isla Cristina, in the case of Huelva land, and two garages and a single-family house in Torredonjimeno, if we are interested in acquiring in Jaén (3).
In Malaga (22) the supply of storage rooms and parking spaces is extensive and several homes in Benahavís are striking, a town where the most expensive house in Spain is located. Specifically in the El Paraíso Urbanization , where you can get half-price apartments valued between 200,000 and 340,000 euros.
Finally, in Seville (17) garages also proliferate, especially in the town of Fuentes de Andalucía, and a lot of seventeen properties in Sanlúcar la Mayor stands out for its high value, valued at almost 17 million euros, but which will be awarded in an independent way.
