The actress and her partner Rosauro Vario attended Starlite. We talked to her about her upcoming projects.
Amaia Salamanca and Rosauro Varo have finally been able to adjust their agendas and coincide in the most anticipated outing of the couple’s vacation in Marbella, the city where they have lived since 2020. Until now, the appearances had been separate, because the most complicated thing for them it is being able to have time to synchronize their outings: «The Leiva concert is a good reason to have some relaxing time with my partner, and the children (he has three children: Olivia (8), Nacho (6) and Mateo, 5). years) have stayed at home and we are going to have a wonderful time with their music. I am very happy in Marbella»:This is how Amaia told us at the entrance to LA RAZÓN that she attended our media together with her partner, current vice president of Prisa and director of Acciona Renovables. The businessman hardly raises his eyes from the project of the large tourist complex that is being built in Laguna Village, located between Estepona and Marbella and in which the first stone was laid last month for the construction of this center that he intends to open in the spring of 2023. This club suffered a fire a few years ago and is now planning its takeoff on the new golden mile, which links Marbella with Estepona.
The businessman is very excited about Laguna Village, and hopes that the 13,000 meters of exploitation and the 1,200 beach concession will become a benchmark for quality tourism in the area. In addition to this investment, the couple has several apartments in Estepona and a large property in Guadalmina, in Marbella. Varo is one of the fashion entrepreneurs and is always open to new initiatives. Salamanca, for its part, has just shot the second season of the series “Welcome to Eden”, and has thus been on horseback between Lanzarote and Teruel in recent months.
Happy shooting in Seville
But the high point in which the actress is focused is on the film “The man from Rome”, which finished shooting and which, according to herself, already has a release date: October 21. It is neither more nor less than «The skin of the drum», the film adaptation of the novel by Arturo Pérez Reverte, shot in cities such as Seville, Madrid and Rome and directed by the Colombian Sergio Dow. The film has an international cast made up of Amaia Salamanca, Richard Armitage, Fionnula Flanagan, Paul Guilfoyle, Rodolfo Sancho, Paul Freeman, Alicia Borrachero and Unax Ugalde. The actress is delighted with the role she plays in the film, a real challenge. The interpreter gets into the registry of the aristocrat Macarena Bruner, a beautiful divorcee who owns the rights to the land where the Nuestra Señora de las Lágrimas church stands, and who scandalizes the city with her inappropriate love affair with a flamenco dancer , while he flirts around Seville and is the main part of a group, which refuses to let the Church be demolished. «I have been very lucky to have been able to embody this character, in one of the most beautiful cities I know, such as Seville», she confesses.
From La Moraleja to Guadalmina
Amaia Salamanca spends part of her summer vacations at her home in Guadalmina with her three children and her husband Rosauro Varo, a property very close to the one owned by the great Olivia Vaère and the one owned by the married couple José María Aznar and Ana Botella and the apartment of María Dolores de Cospedal. In 2020 the couple moved from their luxurious house in the La Moraleja urbanization to the most privileged area of Marbella: Guadalmina. Her home is built on one of the large historic villas in this municipality and has almost 700 square meters and is distributed over two floors. These days, the couple did not want to miss the concert of her friend Leiva, among other things because Amaia has participated in the filming of the video clip “Justo when the world tightens”,of Viva Sweden and Leiva. She herself says that it is such a beautiful video that even her children have seen it.
The little ones study at the Swan, one of the most prestigious schools in Marbella and now on vacation they spend the day immersed in their games, “and playing sports”. This hobby has been the actress herself who has put the bug in the body of the little ones. She is an excellent athlete: in the Basque Country she practiced athletics when she was just a child, and now she tries to instill those values of “Mens sana in copore sano” in her offspring.
Sportsman and dancer
In addition, he likes risky hobbies. On her last birthday, her friends gave her the experience of piloting a helicopter, an event that she defines as: “a magnificent experience that I want to repeat.” Her physical gifts were also exhibited on Jesús Calleja’s program in her adventure in Kyrgyzstan, which she lived with the presenter on “Planeta Calleja”, in January of this year. There we could see her night in a yurt in high mountain meadows and trekking along the legendary Silk Road as well as a transhumance activity on horseback herding sheep. In Marbella she also likes to go out dancing and recently we saw her enjoying herself in Yuma, the most powerful nightclub in the town of Malaga this season.
