Buying or renting a house can be much more expensive in certain parts of Spain than in others. <\/span>If one thing is clear, it is that the sun and the beach significantly increase prices. <\/span>This is confirmed by the Idealista platform report corresponding to the third quarter of 2022. With few changes in the ranking, the\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Mediterranean coast<\/span><\/span><\/strong> \u00a0monopolizes the highest prices in the real estate market in our country.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Benahav\u00eds (M\u00e1laga)<\/span><\/span><\/strong> \u00a0is the town with the highest average home sales price in all of Spain, reaching\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>1,866,894 euros<\/span><\/span><\/strong> . <\/span>This beautiful and mountainous white town of just 8,000 inhabitants located about 7 km from the Costa del Sol, near Estepona, exceeds the second on the list, Calvi\u00e0 (Balearic Islands), by 350,000 euros.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Very close to the first location is one of the most paradigmatic enclaves of luxury and exclusivity in Spain, so it is not surprising that it occupies third place in the classification.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Marbella presents an average price of 1,307,978 euros<\/span><\/span><\/strong> \u00a0and closes the triptych of locations above one million.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Fourth position, already with an average of 919,427 euros per home, goes to the popular\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Sotogrande<\/span><\/span><\/strong> urbanization , where luxury properties and mansions abound. <\/span>This belongs to the Cadiz municipality of San Roque, bordering the Malaga coast. <\/span>It is followed by other Mediterranean towns such as J\u00e1vea, Sitges and Altea.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To find another Andalusian city in the ranking we must go down to the thirteenth position of it. <\/span>This is\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Estepona<\/span><\/span><\/strong> , also from the same corner of Malaga. <\/span>After it, several posts further down appear other of the most populated towns on the\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Costa del Sol<\/span><\/span><\/strong> : Mijas (16th), Benalm\u00e1dena (18th) and Fuengirola (22nd), as well as the Granada municipality of Almu\u00f1\u00e9car (23rd), the Cadiz town of The Port of Santa Mar\u00eda (24th), Manilva (28th). <\/span>and Malaga capital (29th).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As for the prices of rental homes, the podium shown by the Idealista report does not change.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Benahav\u00eds<\/span><\/span><\/strong> \u00a0remains the most expensive town with\u00a0 an <\/span><\/span>average of 3,260 euros per month<\/span><\/span><\/strong> , being the only one that exceeds three thousand; <\/span>Calvi\u00e0 is second with 2,839 euros per month and Marbella is third, just one euro behind the Balearic municipality.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Other cities in Andalusia climb positions in rental prices compared to purchase prices, since\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Estepona is seventh<\/span><\/span><\/strong> \u00a0on the list with 2,042 euros per month, Mijas eleventh with 1,464 and El Puerto de Santa Mar\u00eda twentieth, with an average rent already below the thousand euros, with 978 per month. <\/span>Fuengirola (25th) and Benalm\u00e1dena (26th) are the two towns that complete the Andalusian presence in the national top 30.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
